[RESOLVED] Iomega Zip Disks Of Any Value ?
My mum gave me 9 x 100Mb Iomega Zip disks that are formatted for Macintosh.
They had them at her work and did not want to throw them out.
I told her to sell them on eBay and she laughed and said "go ahead".
Is it worth the trouble, are they worth anything ?

Nix, make sure you sell them as "AS IS" because those 100mb disks are the ones famous for the Click of Death. In other words, they may be or may not be good.

From what I've seen on eBay this person is dreaming http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWA:IT&ih=020
Although I'd make a good profit if they were worth that much.

They are not only dreaming...they are fantasizing, hallucinating, disallusioned, deluded, and an assortment of other mental maladies....
No way those disks are worth that much....not nowadays....I am still amazed and shocked to see Zip drives still being stocked in the computer stores (notice I said "stocked", not "sold").
