Resolved [RESOLVED] changing language settings in printer preferences

I work as a helpdesk analyst and have this strange problem with one user's laptop which is hooked up to a docking station which logs into our network. His printer preferences are set in a different language, looks like russian or some kind of cyrillic language, but his other menu settings and display are in english.

He's running XP pro with service pack 2 and is trying to print to his local printer which is an HP 6122 deskjet. I tried removing the printer, uninstalling the HP software and drivers, then reinstalling the current drivers and software from HP, careful to look to see if the install asks to be in english and still the printer preferences appear in russian or a non-english setting.

I tried changing the settings while in the regional/language setting, but there is no drop down menu to change the language in the menu options under the "languages" tab.

Does anyone have any suggestions?? I'm currently trying to search in MS's knowledge base section.

ended up finding a solution on HP's site.

I had to uninstall the printer, delete these two files: hpznt*.dll and hpzcon*.dll, then restart. Install hp drivers from original cd and pointing to a specific location and now the menu comes up in english.
