[RESOLVED] Windows has shrunk and stretched
I turned on inspiron laptop last night and all of the windows including desktop were about 4 by 8. I'm using ME. I tried to change resolution in display settings, no good. Checked in device manager, no yellow marks. So I shut it down. Turned on again today and size looks like resolution may be 600 by 400. Checked display properties and they are the same. I think it was 600 by 800. Put a hard drive in Aug. 18 and everything had been fine until last night. Sure hope someone can help.

When you installed the new harddrive did you install the display drivers/video drivers? It could be using Windows drivers instead of your laptop's video driver. Download and install from the laptop's manufacturer website.

Yes I installed video drivers. I finally restored back to 3 days after installation of me so problem solved. Thank you for your reply.
