I don't have a clue how "live" operates....except this phrase from the sign-in screen:

Have an MSN Hotmail, MSN Messenger, or Passport account? It's your Windows Live ID.

If you ever had one of those....I suppose they are drawing on that. Not sure....I don't sign up at any search engine. They all track what you search for to begin with, so why give them more info is my philosophy.

Ok ... here is my opinion of this.... It is set too look like google, but it is extremely slow.

All images load on one very longggg scroll ... when you do scroll you have to wait for each new set to load. I even downsized the detail to minimum and it was still as slow as molasses.

I'm too impatient for that ... if I need an image I'm not going to sit there staring at the screen for 20 minutes for them to all load.

I also had to sign in and sign a disclaimer if I wanted to view the results unfiltered.

I think msn is on the safe net experience anyway. They have done away with all adult groups.... and are doing away will all chat rooms for groups. This doesn't mean adult content either. This is any group flagged as adult for adults ... regardless of content. Now they all have to be listed as general content so everyone and anyone can join.

Didn't see any sign in screen, just the link, but I do have a Hotmail/passport account, so that's how they did the deed.
Funny thing, because I was looking for those kind of things when I clicked the sign in, to see what info they wanted.
