    Nvidia SLI driver problem

I recently Downloaded the new 91.31 Nvidia Forceware driver and have been having some trouble. Whenever i log into windows i get a pop up box in the bottom right telling me that the driver does not pick up 2 gfx cards and so SLI mode will be disabled. i don't have 2 gfx cards and have never used SLI so i don't know where it gets the idea i would from. but whenever i go to the SLI Config option in the driver control panel it just gives me a link to the Nvida site for further info and no options to disable it at all. any idea's how i can stop this message from always coming up?

Try a Different Driver....I use an Old Driver for my ATI Radeon 9600XT with not One Problem....The Newer drivers Will Always give older or even new Graphics cards Problems....Find the Drivers Specificly for your Card...Like the ones that came with your card on a CD...

    Annoying isn't it?

I managed to get rid of the message on mine by unchecking "Nvcpl" in the Msconfig>Startup tab.

To say the least. especially cause my mobo doesn't even support SLI!
but cheers for the advice, i will try it out. for the moment though i am going to keep the old drivers as the new ones also don't seem to work with some games i have.

It's the first time any Nvidia driver has ever given me any sort of a problem. At least my mobo does have SLI capabilities, but considering SLI is disabled in the BIOS you'd think the driver could work out that I'm not using them

I haven't had any more popups since I disabled that Startup item anyhow.
