    All Programs Alphabetical Listing

Somewhere in the past I've had an alphabetical listing of all the programs in Start>All Programs but lately they seem to be strung out again. I can't recall how I fixed this before where everything (including new programs) would be alphabetical instead of spread out like buckshot. Anyone know?

    Hi:

Right Click on an item in the start > programs list and select "sort by name".

    I read your e-mail

Try Right clicking any program and select Sort by Name from the drop down menu.

That works good, but; after it gets to the last item (Zone Alarm) it starts over with Adopbe Photoshop, which to me should come after Administrative Tools but doesn't. Does it repeat like this after so many programs are listed?

I've had that 'alphabet' start over with Win98SE, don't know about XP but wouldn't doubt it?
....try left clicking adobe and drag it up to where you want and see if it stays after a boot/reboot.

When files are alphabetized in Windows, folders get priority over files and/or shortcuts. Thus the reason you have 2 alpha sortings...
