    problem with router and dsl

    Hey,

    I have a verizon dsl connection and a dlink DI-524 router. The setup works properly for a few days but then the router loses connection with the modem. I then have to unplug and replug the router inorder to get back the connection (this almost always works). Does anyone know whats going on? I called Verizon but of course, they don't "support" a router that is not purchased from them an I have yet to call Dlink. Btw, this is a pppoe dsl connection.

    Have you checked D-link for a firmware update?
