    security from family members

well, I don't really have any problems with this... But, if you want to keep other people from using your computer, people who don't ussually use computers.. ie. Family, I have a suggestion

I was bored one day, so I decided to take out my keys and replace them randomally on the keyboard

Some keys on my microsoft keyboard is awkward if placed in different places. You have to keep the letter keys in the same row, cause each one is bit differnet shape. and I can't move the F and J keys, except for swapping them

I moved the arrows keys all over the the num pad (can't move the 5 though), so the numpad is filled with arrows now.., I took the left shift key and switched with the enter key, and I messed with the alt, ctrl, windows keys as well; but my mircosoft keyboard has an odd shape at the bottom, so there were limited possibilities there

Something tells me my mother or sister won't be using my computer any times soon..

Though, it does have drawbacks, if I look at the keys while typing, it is really really odd..., I've gotten used to it, but at first I couldn't look at the keyboard while typing or I would mess up...

I left the numbers at the top alone, cause I don't have 100% accruacy with the numbers or the things on top of them..., (the ^ gets me every time)

I was thinking, do they make spare keys? cause you could get keys to spell out things on the keyboard and stuff like that...

    well, just thought I'd share,
    Byan

BTW- I might take a pic later, I would have to find my mother's camera though

Better check and make sure your Mom didn't change around the 'snap' picture button...

Byan, I feel like I'm egging you on, but that's FUNNY! You should post the pic! That is...if your mom hasn't changed the snap button on the camera!

You can always take it to extremes. www.daskeyboard.com

I should give you my keyboard. All the letters have worn off only the F1 thru 12 seem to be visable any more. All the letters have worn off otherwise. Even the shift and Enter key dont say it anymore. Sometimes I get the back slash and forward slash mixed up though\/ or is that /\ LOL
