    DeathToVista !!

I bought the domain name deathtovista.com a long time ago, shortly after I heard about the new OS. I'd like to make something of it... a cool destination about bugs, or hacks, or workarounds, all legal. I was wondering if anyone had ideas... for what they might like to see, or sites about winXP or other os'es that they really like, or whatnot. All suggestions are welcome.

The name usually implies to some degree the subject matter. Not trying to throw wet water on your .com name but it would be better suited for an attacker of MS I would think. Just doesn't ring well. This is of course my opinion. Others might have different thoughts.

lol! Most of the benign names were already taken. I figured annoyances.org makes their name work pretty well.
However, it would be a very cool place to connect with the linux community, SpywareDr. I've been looking for an excuse to build my first linux box! The way things are going, Macs will probably be able to run Vista soon anyway .

It's been just over two years since Apple released Boot Camp, the software that allows Windows XP to run on Intel Macs.

Is there any chance of OS/X running on PC?

There's some interesting speculation on that here:

My opinion is that, officially or not, it will be possible to get OS/X to run on PCs, and Vista to run on Intel Macs.

I've heard that the plan is to integrate some sort of check performed by OS X at the hardware level, so you'd have to be able to spoof it or build your own.

I disagree with the Cringely article, in that 1) Vista is a near-complete rebuild (some of it was rewritten twice) and 2) Microsoft doesn't walk on eggshells around standards, whether it's w3c or ECMA. Parts of the article make lots of sense. Apple could ride the success of OpenOffice to a much larger market share than they already have. But maybe it could be a source for RSS-formatted articles and news for alternative-OS websites.
