word and outlook 2003 not cooperating

    howdy,

have a strange one that just started to affect my email. I use outlook 03 as part of the Office 2003 Professional package. recently, when i go to use outlook I get an an error that says "microsoft office word - upsecified error" then that is usually it. occasionally it will come up with an additional error along the lines of this version of word is not the same as outlook so it goes back to the plain email. If I format the theme to No Theme I get this error "interface not registered"
If I remove using word 2003 the edit email emssages, it is fine.
not sure how this happened as it is off the same disc. I uninstalled the reinstalled office but the same thing is happening. This all began when updates for outlook wouldn't go. I've searched MS but nothing there has helped. All outdates that could be installed have been. This is running on a XP Pro with 512 RAM and besides this annoying little problem works fine. Any ideas? thanks

    Brent

    Try this:
    1. Click Start | Run, type:
      Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll
and press [Enter] (or click OK).

    2. In the RegSvr32 dialog box, click OK.
