    Norton and emails

    Hi all,

my father-in-law asked me a question about Norton and his email and I am not sure I answered him correctly so I thought I would check with the experts. His question was why does Norton say there are 6 messages coming in and weh he looks in outlook express there are only 4 in the inbox. I told him it could be norton has deleted what it suspects to be viruses or something like that. I'm an NOD man so wasn't too sure what the answer would be. I know in outlook express you can set security to block images but i don't think he has anything set to block random messages. He is running xp home with Norton 2005 AV. any help would be appreciated.

I have Norton on one of my other computers .. When i get a large e mail it sends it in packets , then puts it back together once on your inbox .. that might be what he is speaking of ..
