How to make "searchable" newsletter archive?

I have a couple of years worth of email newsletters that come as attachments. I would like to be able to make them into an archive, with the body of the newsletters searchable, much like what Langa does with his newsletters. I don't know whether this project will be complicated by the factors that not only are the subject lines of the emails often the same (about ten different named categories) but also the titles of the attached newsletters are occasionally the same. Does anyone know of a software program to assist, or a (quick and easy )way of doing it manually?
    Thanks,
    Chas

It depends on how much you want to spend on this, and how easy you want to make it for your end-user(s). You can use free indexing tools like Copernic Desktop Search to index folders on your hard drive.

If you want to create a distributable CD or DVD that has the documents indexed for searching, you can use a software product like the one at the links below, or have someone who has the product create the indexed CD/DVD for you. There are service bureaus for this.

    Thanks jdc2000,
I recently downloaded Copernic Desktop Search, but haven't installed it yet. Perhaps I'll give it a try. My original idea was to create a distributable CD, and I still can, I guess folks would just have to use their own search engine.
