[RESOLVED] IE-Spyad

Hi All,
I use IE-SPYAD along with SpywareBlaster and tend to update the definitions every 2-3 months. Seems that the old link now routes through
to www.spywarewarrior.com with a new version released on 26 Feb.
Titled 'IE-Spyad for ZonedOut'.

My questions: Is spywarewarrior a reputable site...?

Has anyone installed the new definitions list ?.

Site is ok. New list installed,no problems. One thing to keep in mind. When you uninstall the old definitions for I.E.spyads and you also use SpywareBlaster,it may disable some of the blaster entries. Usually about 33 of them. No biggy,just remember to open blaster and click on "enable all protection".
Also, using the 'zoned out' option is your choice. I prefer to just do the above and have no problems...

TechPhobe--The site has changed but the same downloads are offered. You do not have to use the ZonedOut version. The first download offered when you scroll down the page is the old iespyads.exe. That is what I continue to use.

Using the IESpyAds uninstall.reg file will uninstall all the sites in that .reg file. Many (almost all) indeed are common with SpywareBlaster's Registered Sites file, so you will delete those that are common. But using the install.reg file will restore all that IESpyAds still feels should be in Restricted sites. And I think most all those in SpywareBlaster's list will also be reinstalled since the two lists are very similar. Of course, you could run SpywareBlaster's "Enable all protection" if you do not want to use IESpyAds install.reg file anymore or if you want to be sure all the SWB sites have been restored..
Sites that you have added to Restricted Sites manually or which have been added by SpywareBlaster that are not in IESpyAds uninstall.reg file will not be affected by using the IESpyads uninstall.reg file.
