[RESOLVED] Best NIC for Windows 95b?
I've had this Asound 10/100 Ethernet card for a while now and it has given me nothing but issues in seemingly every system I throw it in. In hopes of connecting to my network/router with my Windows 95 machine I tried it in there but to no avail.
Can anyone point out some good NICs that work well in Windows 95 that have agood drivers support and that they personally recommend? Thanks for any help.

I've always liked the Netgear FA310 and FA311.

Is there a difference between those two? Can I easily get the drivers online for Win 95?

Just purcased a new FA311 off of eBay for $7. Thanks It says all major OS are supported so I assume Win 95 is as well. Thanks

I dont have a wide range of experience with NICs for 95 but the one I'm using now(if the one you bought doesn't work) is an ISA EtherExpress PRO 10. And my stock install of Windows 95 already had drivers for it. It installed seamlessly with absolutely no hassle. And it's been running seamlessly ever since. I've never even updated the NIC driver for it besides what came with 95. Maybe I should consider doing that. <_<
I tried 3Comm first in here which is suppose to be the best but what a bunch of hoops it wanted me to jump through. I had to run a program FIRST before even installing the card. Then download the drivers and yadda yadda.

Great! Got the card today and it installed as easy as pie. Immediately had access to the Internet (browsing with IE3 is a chore, LOL) and with some tinkering I was able to get it to be a part of the Network with all my other PCs and have been sharing files awesomely. Thanks for the great and cheap recommendation.
