westell 327 versalink router
I have two computers on network.one hard wired to the modem, the other on wireless connection...both access the internet ok but the xp network setup wizard fails when i try to establish file sharing...do i need special set up of the modem?? using verizon DSL win xp pro on both machines also have disabled firewalls when trying to set up network...any help is totally appreciated...

Looks like the extra network connection is probably your problem. What is the purpose of the WAN connection? Do you have some kind of VPN you're connecting to?

extra network connection??? its the same connection...and wuts vpn??
