    Sorry for the confusion. This is a different computer as you eventually determined. When people have issues, they come to me for help as I can usually find a solution. And thanks to this great forum, I typically can find a solution.

    I will get a new HJT log for this computer sometime on Monday. Thanks for the help!

    Finally, an opportunity to address this machine further.
    Here is a new log.
    It appears that the pop-up issues have been resolved.
    However, this computer is still having shutdown issues. When shutting down, it goes through the shutdown process properly and then suddenly it starts to reboot. I am reviewing Microsoft's site for a possible solution, but if there are any suggestions, I would be glad to review.
    How does the new Hijack This log look?

    I don't see any problems showing up in the log. This is a notorious issue in W98.

    I would start here with the shutdown supplement:
