    Selective Startup nag screen.

I'm working on a friends computer. In order to increase resourses I used selective start up to reduce some of the un-necessary programs from loading at start up. But now I'm getting a nag screen at almost every boot saying something like "select startup is for diagnostic reasons" click here if you don't want to see this screen again. The only problem is after you tick the box so you won't see the screen again on the next boot you've got it again. GRRRR. How can I stop the nag screen for good? Thanks.

You might want to see this thread http://discussions.virtualdr.com/sho...d.php?t=198882 which is about the same issue but in XP.

Maybe the script XOR posted will work in WinMe too ??

That seems to have solved the problem. Thanks.
