Recently, I have been having a problem with "Spool32 caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown>, etc. A check of the MS KB pointed me to the faultlog to find out what the problem is. This is what showed up. I have no idea what it means. Can anyone help? I'm desperate.
My computer is an hp pavilion mx70, 1 Ghz Intel Pentium III processor, 182 MB SDRA Memory, 40.0 GB Ultra DMA Hard drive (32 GB unused), CD-RW HP cd-writer 8x4x32 max. speed, DVD-ROM drive 12x max. speed.

What version of Windows are you running?
It may be a faulty memory module - you will need to run a memory test program like Memtest86 to eliminate this possibility.
Have a spare floppy disk handy and you can download it from http://www.memtest86.com
or direct download from:
http://www.memtest86.com/memt32.zip
Run the install.bat file with a blank floppy in the drive and it will install.
Once installed on the disk, restart the computer with the disk in the drive and it should boot off it and start testing - leave it go until at you have at least 1 pass (or fail!).

Thanks to both of you -- yes, I am a WinME user. I had trouble yesterday with my password so I couldn't answer. Anyway, I am rather computer illiterate so when things go wrong, I am just discombobulated. A lot of things have been going wrong lately.
Oh, yeah -- HP OfficeJet G55 printer/copier/scanner.
Thanks again.
