same old ? battery drain...
Hi,
Can someone enlighten...the CCD is the biggest drain of current. Is reading and
writing to memory card the next biggest drain or the LCD?
There are also flash cards that claim faster speeds and low battery
consumption. Any thoughts?
I use SD (as many do)...in a 5Mp camera.
Thanks Much,
Alan

What batteries are you using?
I use AA's and make sure they are as fresh as can be fron the factory.
Because they do go to pot sitting on the store shelves, over heated in warehousing, etc. Just say I learned the hard way years ago.

Train, I'm just interested in analizing what drains the batteries the most.
ex. CCD, Strobe, Read/Write to memory, LCD.
Thanks
