Strange explorer activity on power up

Very strange - explorer opens automatically onthe first power up of the day. Two screens open - one for my hard disk c: and another window for my flashdisc G:

This only happens o the first power up of the day. It started two days ago. I must have inadvertently altered a setting somewhere to make this happen - any one any idea as to what, and how to correct?

well - it should do! Trouble with using the selective start up for my problem is that the peculiarity only happens once a day at first power up.

Today, however, I have been doing routine maintenance, and it will be interesting to see if the explorer screens open tomorrow morning.

Shutdown, wait 30 seconds, that clears the ram, then bootup.
See if it acts up then.
