That was strange! I had an update waiting (it said "IMPORTANT UPDATE"), but when I downloaded it, a black command prompt window opened for a second and the program closed. When I opened it again and checked again for an update, it said that there were no new updates available.

Looked at the log and see it checks this ini file http://security.kolla.de/updates/spybotsd.ini
which upon d/l appears to have some updates in it.
some skins, a bosnian translation, a beta and the important update.
I can't get my system to pick up any.
Maybe mys settings are wrong.
Under Settings, Web Update nothing si ticked other then use proxy - should I have more ?

DuaneB.. that DOS window was the installation process for that download. Once it was installed then there was nothing else to download.

Thanks. I seem to be up-to-date, but I don't remember seeing the Command Prompt window open and close like that with previous updates.

How do I tell If I'm up to date or not ?
Not that it detects any files anyway, but I'm curious ?

There is an important spybot update....Nix....you might want to update your spybot version....make sure you have the lastest or it will not pick up the latest definition updates.

I'm using version 1.2.
In the help about it tells me Monday 24th November was the last update.

After checking for the latest Update, a "View Log" icon will appear at the top of your window. Scroll to near the bottom. The longest lines are the ones that show updates and the date downloaded.
