I have a P2 400 Mhz with 2 USB ports. I had a DSL modem plugged into one and a Wingman racing Wheel in the other (these things are lots of fun!). Anyway, I just bought a new digicam with a smartmedia card and bought a USB Memorex SmartMedia Card Reader to download my pics. I disconnected my Wingman, ran the included CD software, rebooted then installed the Reader. The computer recognized that a new USB device had been installed and began loading the necessary drivers, when it looked almost done, a blue screen appeared that said:
A fatal exception 0E has occurred at 0028:C1837276 in VXD APIX(02) + 00002736. The current application will be terminated.
* Press any key to terminate the current application
* Press CTRL+ALT+DEL again to restart your computer.
You will lose any unsaved information in all applications.

I tried to remove and re-install this device about a dozen different ways, with no success. (I tried following the directions at least 4 or 5 times as well).

Please help, I can't figure this one out!
