    Alternatives to LogMeIn and ConnectWise

    Hi!
    I'm looking for a reliable alternative to LogMeIn and ConnectWise for remote desktop access. Ideally it should be free for personal use. Support for both Windows and macOS is important along with features like file transfer and chat.
    I'd really appreciate any recommendations or insights based on your experience.

    The best remote desktop access software that I have used is TeamViewer. The drawback is that it might decide that you are not using it for personal use.

    I used TeamViewer for a long time. It works well, but once you hit the free usage limits, your connection can get blocked.
    AnyDesk is another solid option, though the free version also comes with some limitations.
    Lately, I’ve switched to HelpWire. It’s been working well for me, and it’s free, so definitely worth a try.
