    Resolved [RESOLVED] G-Mail log-on two

    What ho one and all,

I know I posted about my G-mail a/c receiving and 0x800CCC90 message, and in the previous thread, that was resolved by getting a new app password. Then everything was fine.

And I think I post again, about a similar issue that occurred with the same a.c when I used my phone to install Google Wallet and had to do something with the password.

The situation is, I have tow G-mail accounts, a/c1 and a/c2. a/c1 is my main account but that is the one playing up

On the computer, I only receive a/c2, and on my phone, I only receive a/c1 (which if I want it, I select and forward to a/c2 which in turn, downloads to the computer.)

Previously, I was receiving both a/c 1 and 2 on the computer.

Nothing is working to get it up and running again. Did some internet research and found what I was not aware of; namely, that my Google account is a container in which I can have G-mail, Photos, Drive, etc. So open Google, and everything is available.

Since I have two G-mail accounts, I assume that a/c2 (which is working) has a different password to a/c1? Hence the p/w error message?

Can I have two e-mail addresses in the same account? If so, how do I get a/c1 as the main account (and working on the computer) then arrange for the mails in a/c2 to be with the one, Send/Receive button? Is it possible to have two Google accounts with the same p/w?

Thanks, and apologies for the complex explanation

If you want further assistance on this issue, we still need answers to some questions.

You can have multiple Google / GMail accounts. They can have the same (not recommended) or different passwords.

Can you have one Google account with 2 email addresses? No.

    https://support.google.com/accounts/...-account?hl=en

On your Computer, please give us a DETAILED description of exactly what you are doing to access your "a/c2" email. Provide the software programs used, and the exact steps that you are using, and what happens after each step.

    Example:
    Start Google Chrome
Navigate to GMail online web site
    Enter user name and password
    Email displays

Then, give us the same info for the "a/c1" account. What does or does not happen. We need details. Pretend that we know nothing about your computer setup, or computers in general. The more accurate information that you can supply, the better chance we have of providing assistance.

Well spend some time later to get the screenshots and description but you have giving me a thought.

When it recently stopped (don't recall the reason) I got a new AppPassword from Google and entered that into the password section for both a/c1 and a/c2 and everything worked.

The problem only reared it head again, following installing Wallet on my phone and as I did not know that p/w, I guess I changed it. As I cannot have two e-mail address in the same Google account, I guess I have two Google accounts (for a/c1 and a/c2) but I did copy and pasted the same AppPassword to both. Perhaps renew the AppPasswords, one for each account?

    A good news heads-up.

Not really sure on how Google works, but decided to get a new AppPassword for my main a/c1 account. Copied and pasted that into the a/c1 password on OE6 and bingo, it is all working again.

Now receiving and sending mails for both a/c1 and a/c2.

Thanks for you advice and support, it is much appreciated.

    Toodle pip
