[RESOLVED] Canon Digital Professional Pro: Not setting up after install
I did a computer "reset" on my Win 10 machine. So far everything has reinstalled that I need with one exception. I have a Canon 6D Mk 2 and I like Canon's Digital Photo Professional v. 4 etc. I'm encountering a problem. I dl and extract and then click to install. I see "files extracted" box. But then...nothing. The app vanishes. Can't find it. Any help here? Thanks

Keep an eye on your task bar - to see if there is another item there. It might be the "next" button so to speak that launches the install.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

I wish it were that simple. This one so far baffles me.

I figgred it out. Did a search w app called "Everything" and it showed me where I had stashed the program.

Microsoft's "Search" has been fairly useless for a long time. It refuses to search in folders that Microsoft thinks you should not be looking in, or for things that Microsoft thinks you should not be looking for. The Void Tools "Everything" search is much better at locating things.
