[RESOLVED] Can't see new SSD
In Disk Man, the new drive shows up as Disk 1 but all operations and commands are disbled.
Diskpart doesn't see it at all.
How do I make it visible so I can restore the C:\ image
Is there a special tool for formatting an SSD?
Thanks - rev

If you see the SSD in Disk Management, it sounds like you need to initialize the disk first.

You don't need to partition/format the SSD before restoring an image. It will get wiped out anyway.

No.
