Problem with google account

Google wants to verufy it's me but when it sends a code it uses the wrong phone or the wrong email, so I can't get in.

When I try to edit the contact info, my phone says 'check your connection and try again.' It's connected. Can't edit the info on my laptop because I can't sign in. I can't delete the account because you need to sign in to do that.

What's the best way out?

Will google let me create a second account under the same name? (I don't want to lose my Contacts or anything else)

I've found asking gmail related questions here in the google online community to be helpful.

That takes me to a sign in page and I can't sign in. When you can't access a google account, you lose: emails, contacts, calendar, photos, documents, and any subscriptions such as apps, movies, games, music and TV shows.

If you have more than one backup phone number for receiving a code, I think you should be able to choose otherwise what's the point?

I let my browser remember my passwords. When I need the info I look in Chrome's settings.

Are you doing that by any chance?

You can create another (temp) gmail account to be able to log into that google help site to ask questions about any account you want.

I think google will let you use the same name for account creation, just not the same exact adress as before still, you could contact google directly before proceeding to more drastic measures
