An issue with width
I have an Acer laptop windows 11. I play scrabble on irs/co or Internet Scrabble Club. One side of the screen is for playing, one for chat. The problem is that my board side keeps getting narrower while the chat site gets wider until it is hard for me to see the board size.
I have ask "HELP" on there and they tell me it is a computer setting but for the life of me I cannot find a setting to control that and still not sure if it is my problem or theirs although I have talked to them multiple times times.
Any suggestions?
I have also notices when I to Ebay and Amazon that to see the entire page I have NOW got to scroll from side to side at the bottom of the screen so it must be a setting on my computer.
Where to go and what to reset?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Which browser are you using? Are its font and display settings set for default? Have you tried a different browser?

I am guessing that is is a zoom issue (zoom > 100%). Control and + or - might adjust the size.

I guess.I am using Bing, whatever came with the computer. [I]t seems to be getting worse.
Example: Now when I go to Amazon I have to scroll 5-7 inches back and forth to see the displays.
It worked fine until the past couple weeks.
Yes, display is set to default.
No virus or malware on scans.

Try adjusting the zoom as jdc suggests.
Very unlikely to be malware related.
I'd also be trying a different browser.

Nothing has changed. Now even my pointer seems to be larger.
I am so tired of scrolling side to side.
Can I give one of you specialists control of my computer to fix it? I had to do that with HP once.

You need to press the CTRL and the - (minus sign) to make things in your browser Smaller.
CTRL + makes things bigger.
If those don't help you need to adjust your Screen/Monitor size via Display Settings.

Do you have an External Mouse hooked up to the Laptop?
If so, the CTRL Key and the Scroll on the mouse can Increase and Decrease the same way
as CTRL Key and +/- Keys can.
Some of the cheaper Mice can be very sketchy and have a mind of their own.
Many times, the higher end mice don't have this problem.
CTRL Key plus Scrolling Up will Increase the size and CTRL Key plus Scrolling Down will Decrease the Size.

Did you also try a different browser? I'd try Firefox since it isn't a Chrome based device as is the default browser on the computer. It can import favorites when you install it.

Bing is not a browser, it is Microsoft's search engine. I am guessing that you are using Microsoft Edge.
How to change Zoom settings in Edge:
https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/...soft-edge.html
https://www.howtogeek.com/658739/how...icrosoft-edge/
It is also possible that you have display scaling set to something other than 100%.

No, no external mouse!
I have tried the links given me. Zoom is set to default 100%
I tried switching it but the issue still persists. I am literally ready to sling the computer out my door.
Can I not give someone who can fix it control of my
long enough to fix it??
I have wasted 2 hours of my afternoon on this to no avail.
With a double university degree I do not consider myself stupid but in this case I must be.

Did you try adjusting to a SMALLER size?
Did you try something other than the recommended size?
