    Resolved [RESOLVED] win 7 uses

Is there a win7 I can buy that I can use on all my computers? I would like to have one cd that I can use over and over. Is that a pipe dream or can I get that?

You can use the same installation disc on multiple computers, but you still need a separate license key for each of them.

Perhaps worth noting is that you can still use Win 10 for free with very few restrictions. An occasional reminder and a few small visual restrictions.

Thanks Fink, I was hoping to avoid Win 10. Lightning has struck my house again and this time it cost me 3 tv's, 1 computer, 1 modem, and 1 DVD player.
The internet company had installed a suppressor and a POE to my ethernet cable, but it smoked them and everything else that was attached.

Windows 10 should be fairly stable at this point, and Microsoft is not constantly messing with its "features". That is reserved for Windows 11 now.

If lightning has hit your house more than once, it might be time to look into better lightning protection for it.
