    "Deep Fake" Video Software

I've been trying to find easy to use "deep fake" software without success.

By "deep fake" I mean taking an existing video and superimposing a still image over the face so it becomes a moving image matching the original actor's facial movements.

This is just for fun and doesn't need to be professional quality. This would only be for 10-30 second videos.

I would be OK with paying for such software but I would want to test it out first to see if it's suitable for my needs. Hence if the free version read "Sample" across the final video I'd be OK with this because I could still see the results and know if they were worth paying for.

There may be a feature in existing Adobe software I already own but I need to know what feature that is.

The only thing I could find was using Adobe After Effects and using the Mocha feature. However all of these instructional videos are extremely difficult to follow as they just say things like, "now adjust the brightness and color." How do I do that? What do I click on?

Similar to Premiere, After Effects has a very customized work space so because my work space looks completely different I simply can't click on 75% of the items mentioned. Hence I couldn't get Mocha to work for me.

To be more specific. A feature everyone's been recommending is "Roop" which is a feature in the free program "Visual Studio." However I cannot install this program as it must be installed on my C drive where I do not have enough space.

Is there a way I can install Visual Studio on another drive? I was able to install Adobe After Effects on my D drive.

Looks like you could use this portable version of Visual Studio...

Thank you for your response. I was able to successfully install Visual Studio Portable. As I've never used this program before I watched some basic instructional videos all of which involved typing code. This may be a silly question but what is Visual Studio used for? I thought it was for video editing?

I kept searching for the "Roop" feature but could not find it.

This is a link to the instructional video I used previously to try and install Visual Studio. I never got to use the actual Roop feature as the installation failed due to lack of space.

Second question, should I even be trying to install this new program? Is there a feature within the existing software I own and have installed such as Adobe Premiere or After Effects which can create deep fakes?

Please be patient with me. I'm really trying but my knowledge of anything involving code is extremely limited.

The video you shared a link for took me to the same page my friend sent me to for downloading visual studio. https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/t...e=false#dotnet

The problem with this page is that it will not let me install to the D drive.

I tried the method mentioned here a few more times and it did seem to let me install to the D drive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBNC...l=TroubleChute

I also downloaded and installed Anaconda which my friend told me was also required.

However Windows Powershell got stuck at this this point. I am attaching a screen shot. Windows Powershell Error.PNG

Perhaps the solution would be to make more room on your C drive so you can install it there. Delete/move large media files and/or increase the size of the partition.
