NEW PROBLEM.
This is a situation that I have never experienced before. My Wife has a Dell 3477 Inspiration AIO. The hard drive has failed. So I do as I have done before, break it down, remove hard drive & so forth. This time, I could not find a hard drive. The hard drive tray was empty. I had never been involved in such a situation before. After doing some research, I found out that it had a Gaming Drive Disque. Totally new to me... So I go to Best-Buy & purchase a new SSD Game Drive. After installing the new drive & re-asemble the AIO, I try to install windows 10, using a thumb drive with the media creation tool. When I try to boot, I get PXE over IPX4 or PXE over IPX6...
I go into the Bios & disable these to thinking that would resolve the problem. No dice.. I am totally at a loss here. I try to use the F12 boot order & no USB option is available. When I boot I get this message from the Dell support Assist: "CANNOT FIND ENABLED BOOT DEVICE/MEDIA." This is a situation where no one is too old to learn something new. I really need help on this one....Thanks for your time..............

I am assuming that you did not create a Recovery Drive for this computer before the SSD failed.
You will need a bootable USB drive / media of some type in order to boot the computer and reinstall Windows. The links below might be useful. Let us know if you need additional assistance.

I had mentioned in my previous post that I had a "media creation tool" on a thumb drive. I have used this tool many times in installing windows 10.
What I need to know, is to how to setup the Bios so that it will recognize the thumb drive. I am not all that keen regarding Bios changes. Thanks jdc.

If you have another computer available, you can use it to check that the USB drive is bootable on it, if possible. Make sure that the drive is plugged in before power on the computer. Press the key (F12 / F2 on a Dell) repeatedly while power on the computer to get to the boot menu.

My media creation tool was ok. The reason it didn't work was because there are no usb ports on the front so I had run an extension usb cable to the front to use as a plug in. The problem now is that during the windows install setup, at the select which drive to install, there is no drive. The Bios shows the drive, but not there. Not sure how to proceed from there. Its late in the day so will have to work at it tomorrow & hopefully figure something out.............

UPDATE:
I finally got the problem resolved. I had messed up with various changes in the Bios, that I lost track of what was what. So instead of trying to use a USB drive with Windows creation media, i used a portable DVD player & an old Windows 10 disk that I had got with a new PC years ago. Surprisingly, it installed without any problems, whatsoever. And it didn't even ask for the product key of the disk. And it's even activated. I went ahead & updated the Bios, so everything seems to working A-1.
Thank you, for all your input..........

Excellent.
Thanks for the update.
I thought of suggesting to use a USB CD/DVD player and a disc, but did not know if you had those available. That usually works and is often easier than creating a USB flash drive to install from.
