Wi-Fi
What ho one and all,
I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 running Android 7.1. The phone works fine and does what I want and need.
However, whenever I make the phone active by pressing the central button and before the the PIN screen, there is a message to tell me that Adaptive Wi-Fi has disconnected, always from a shop that I am no longer near.
I am seeking the method to prevent this useless information. I have virtually all the software notifications turned off, but still, these useless messages arrive. Currently, I am around 10 miles from a shop but still have the Wi-Fi disconnected message displaying
I have searched but everything tells me how to prevent or why my phone continually disconnects from the wi-fi. I virtually never use wi-fi internet, so don't need to be told that I am disconnected from a shop hot-spot.
Thanks a toodle pip

Go to settings - connections - WiFi - Advanced - Manage networks
tap and briefly hold the network you don't want then select "FORGET".
After that you can to to the WiFi option and just temp turn it off if you
don't want to use it and also save a little battery usage until you need it
on again.
VirtualDr email notices are not working.
Check back regularly for responses.
