    Cordless Keyboard keeps dying

The problem I have is that I can be typing something and then all of a sudden what I'm typing isn't being shown on the screen. Underneath my keyboard there is a button, which if I press it will start to show what I'm typing on the screen. This is happening every couple of minutes and of course is driving me up the wall. Can anyone suggest a solution please. Thanks.

Is it the on/off switch? Might be corroded and need a squirt of contact cleaner.

    Are the batteries fresh?

What is the make/model of the keyboard? Does it have a USB dongle? If so, make sure you connect it to a USB 2.0 port if possible. USB3.0 ports can cause interference with wireless devices.

Also, check the Windows power settings to make sure that the USB port is not set to turn off after inactivity.
