Resolved [RESOLVED] A secret Windows thing?

I shut down and began to clean my keyboard with rubbing alcohol and a Q Tip (as one does). The machine started up again!

At first I thought, short circuit! But my Q Tip was only just damp. Then I thought I'd accidentally hit on a secret Windows key press.

It remained a secret because I didn't know what key I'd pressed to make that happen. Is there such a thing, can you start the box from the keyboard?

I did it so it's clearly possible but is it an intentional feature?

    Thanks -rev

Yeah! I tried it this morning by just poking any key and sure enough... I did not know that.

It's not a huge advantage over pressing the ON button in a normal situation but if you do digital audio you may have the box in a different room or in an enclosure. Good one.

I'm in Mexico and they have strange ideas about what should require a prescription. I got a pain killer called Adiolol and I wasn't expecting much but I got high as a kite! Turns out, it's Tramadol by it's gringo name and a pretty decent opiate. It felt like Vicodin with a Foster's lager.
