[RESOLVED] BIOS PASSWORD???
This is a tough one.
A fellow veteran gave me a Dell Inspiron 23 Model 5348 AIO computer. I removed a 1tb HD & replaced it with a 500gb SSD.
I was not able to get the previous HD to work, so the reason for the replacement. However, when all's well & done & I fire it up
I get this message: THIS COMPUTER IS PROTECTED BY A PASSWORD PROTECTION SYSTEM. YOU CANNOT ACCESS THE DATA
ON THIS COMPUTER WITHOUT THE CORRECT PASSWORD.
Being that the computer was 7 years old & had not been used for quite a while, the owner could not recall what, if any password.
I thought perhaps if I removed the cmos battery that would fix it. I pulled the battery & left it out over night, reinstalled this AM &
still the same problem. Each time I pull the case apart, a piece of the plastic grip tabs break off. If I keep having to remove same,
I wont be able clip it back on. Any suggestions? Thanks much!

Google.
It's against our rules to help with any type of password.
