Still late summer-like weather until next week. It's usually pretty cold this time of year.

Dense morning fog all around for most of the last week. Very unusual. It's shut the airport down a few times.

21° C and sunny. I'm usually getting my winter jacket out of storage or even wearing it at night this time of year. I just did all my outdoor errands in a t-shirt.

If they're correct looks like I may well need my heavier jacket by the end of the week.

    FEELS LIKE ‎72°

Watch for scattered rain showers. The high will be 76° on this breezy day.

I might have to put some socks on... Or I guess I could close the window behind me....

And then the Text/EMail combo comes in as expected:

ALERT PINELLAS: A Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for Pinellas County as Tropical Storm Nicole approaches Florida. Tropical Storm conditions are expected in Pinellas County late tonight (11/09) through tomorrow evening (11/10). Expect gusty winds, heavy rain, and above normal tides along the coast. Review your emergency plans and kits. Monitor forecasts as the system continues to develop at www.hurricanes.gov .

The less fun part is how the rain should start around 2pm today and not stop for a while.

My brother is now down in north Ft Myers arranging to get repairs done to his home there which fortunately wasn't badly damaged during Ian. He says it started raining yesterday and they've been given a storm watch but they aren't overly concerned about damaging winds or rainfall right now.
