Have a new Acer computer but cannot find a place to type letters, help!
I am not paying Microsoft for Word or Office. Is there a safe program I can download in it's place that if FREE for typing letters.

LibreOffice.. https://www.libreoffice.org/
and
OpenOffice.. https://www.openoffice.org/
Are both popular replacements for MS Office.
I've used both and they are good programs but I think LibreOffice is
a little closer in look and feel to MS.
FreeOffice is another but I've never used it.

input from other users to get an idea of how others like them... no
shortage of opinions out there.

There is also a free version of WPS Office. That is a clone of Microsoft Office. There is also a paid version (lifetime license) for $80.
