    OE6 and OAuth2

    What ho one and all,

I am still trying to find if I can activate OE6 in my GMail account since OE6 does not offer OAuth2 verification.

There may(?) be a way by activating 2FA and selecting Other as the device, then entering the generated password.

I am keen to give it a try but I don't want to loose access to my GMail account using TB because I have changed the password. If I try the generated p/w in OE6 and it does not work, have I lost my existing p/w to access my e-mails?

The password is with @Gmail.com and not the application(s).
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Oh yeah!!! Glory be to ......

With trepidation, I tried the App Password thing, turned on 2FA and pasted the password into my OE6 serve tab. It's working.

Amazing. Thanks for the support. I am one happy bunny!

One hours later update; I have two gmail accounts so tried the same with the second. It is not working!!!! But my default is.

Solved. In trying to get it to work some days ago, I altered too many settings. Having corrected that, both accounts are doing what they should.

Many thanks for your patience due my times of woe.
