[RESOLVED] DRIVER DILEMMA ?
I have this old PC that I picked up to play with & cannot find a couple of drivers for it .
The PC is a HP Compaq dc-7100. It originally had Windows XP & one of the missing drivers is the audio.
I installed a copy of Windows7 enterprise & it runs quite nice. I would of liked to install Windows 10 but being that it is a
32bit system, I could not. I understand that there was a 32bit windows 10, but cannot find.
There seems to be a lot of driver updaters on the market but the cost would be far more than what this PC is worth, even if it was gold plated. Any suggestions of course would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much.................

FWIW every single site that I've ever seen that offers a paid program to update drivers is a rip off and should be avoided. Best case is you pay for it not being able to get your drivers and you're only out a few dollars, worse case and very common is you also get a program that installs adware or even malware along with your purchase.
Generally the best place to get drivers is directly from the company that created the program or computer that you're using and need drivers for or Microsoft.

Also the newest drivers I could find for that computer directly from HP is for Vista. Might be worth a try using those.

There may be a way to download the 32 bit version of Windows 10. I will investigate and post an update if I can get it to work.

UPDATE
I finally found an audio controller driver. I found it on Softpedia. I had to fight off a few Driver Updaters etc. as they tried to make me DL their product.
