[RESOLVED] Chrome and TikTok
I read a lot of articles on Msn.com that have videos from TikTok.
All I see is a Black box instead of the video.... I don't have a TikTok account and don't really want one....
BUT, I can copy the URL into MS Edge and the video plays just fine.
I have tried three different Chrome Extensions AND turned off ad blockers with no joy.
Here is an example: https://pethelpful.com/pet-news/hors...goodbye-to-dog
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Have you tried disabling all extensions in Chrome?

That link/video works for me in FF and Chrome but not in Vivaldi.. there I just get a blank area where the tiktok thing would be.

Thanks for the assist... It didn't help but it did move me on to the next target.
COOKIES
My address bar is/was showing an "EYE" with a slash through it for Third Part Cookie Blocking. I don't yet know if it allowed the one url I posted above or all for that domain to be allowed. Will know soon.

Allowing cookies, esp third party cookies is becoming more and more necessary for things online to work these days. All of the commenting sites I use like Disqus need them to work properly. Very annoying and not great security and privacy-wise either. I don't use tiktok but it would not surprise me in the slightest if it needs them as well.
I've been phished more than once in the last couple of weeks incl on Twitter. Gotta be extra careful these days.
