SFC found corrupt files and cannot get her wireless printer back working.

Here is the problem I have.
My sister in law lives 3000 miles away from me. HP laptop running windows 10 has had some issues and over the years I have always been able to resolve them for her. I think its about 5 years old.
She is lost when it comes to computers and its hard to explain to her what needs to be done.
I told her to take it to a local repair shop but she doesn't want to do that. Not much to choose from in her area from what I can see anyway.
Two weeks ago I logged in using the free version of teamviewer and was able to get her wireless printer working. She calls yesterday and told my wife it no longer works. Network Discovery was turning off.
I talked to her last night and did log back in.
She got a very fast internet connection last week so now it works so much better using teamviewer but I couldn't get the printer back working for her.
Network Discovery keeps turning off seems to be the issue. I turned it back on last night again but no HP printer showed up. It showed up two weeks ago after I turned Network Discovery back on but not now.
I then was just about out of ideas so I used the command prompt and ran sfc /scannow. It said errors were found but couldn't be repaired.
I tried to save the message where it was stored but got knocked off line so I give up for the night and thought I would ask if anyone knew what an easy option would be to get this issue resolved doing it using teamviewer.
The computer seems to run ok and the Fiber Optic internet is super fast but she wants to use the printer. About the only things she does is print music for church . She is a very light internet user .
    Thanks. Tom

    A couple things to try:
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...7-5f8a681928e1

    https://www.itechguides.com/windows-...ork-discovery/

You could also look at Event Viewer and see if there are any error messages.

Thank you. I will see if I can log in and check. The issue with the error after I ran sfc /scannow was something I was worried about because she has had issues with this computer in the past.
I have thought malware might be an issue causing this. Some way Avast antivirus got installed the day before I logged in last week. She would not have known how to install this. She won't click on anything for fear of messing things up.
Also when I looked in add-remove programs I noticed MS office was installed three days before that. I asked her about this and see told me only her uses this laptop and she didn't install those two programs.
