I got an update from Microsoft I guess over night. Now in the top of all site pages about 3 inches down is a rectangular little box that says "enter your search term here". I cannot rid of it though I have tried all day. It is in the way of anything I try to read. HELP

I have Firefox and Vivaldi but do not care for them as well. The link did not work as far as their instructions.

From your response, I'm guessing you are using Edge. This is a problem specific to Edge. Unfortunately, the fixes don't work for everyone.

What about Google Chrome? Edge is based on Chromium anyway.

What version of Edge are you running? The latest version I see is 98.0.1108.50.
In Edge, click the 3 dots > Help and Feedback > About Microsoft Edge
If you don't have the latest version, you'll be prompted to update

Also moved thread to Internet Related Issues, because it's a problem with Edge.
