    FREE Remote Software

    What is a good FREE remote software? I am planning to use: Chrome Remote Desktop

    If you mean remote access into another computer, I'd go with Teamviewer.

    But is it for free for residential use and is it safe? I see lots of videos on YouTube where scammers use TeamViewer and AnyDesk.

    It's used by them because it works well. The reason it could not be safe is only if you get a call from a scammer and allow them access to your computer otherwise if you use it legitimately it's just fine.. you aren't going to scam yourself to get access to your PC.

    AnyDesk is also a pretty good option. Both of these programs have a neat privacy feature where you can turn the screen of the remotely controlled device black, so nobody near that screen can see what's going on. I recommend enabling it.

    I'm also used Chrome Remote Desktop before. But isn't quite as good as TeamViewer, but on Windows, it's pretty much the same, minus the built-in file transfer function.
    And now I am using the UltraViewer --------------- application without any problem. It's totally free and does not need any subscription.
