upgrading window 10 to windows 11
Hi, after many years im back to this forum where I know that I will find the answer to my question
I am running a PC with the following specs;
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8600K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz, Ram16.0 GB, 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor and
Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 21H2
Installed on 5/6/20
OS build 19044.1387
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0
my windows update page reads, Great news—your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 11. Specific timing for when it will be offered can vary as we get it ready for you.
three times I go thru the downloading process and then the installation process, and when the final restart process kicks and reaching 85% I get the blue screen and then the roll back to windows 10 starts and installation failed.
what am I missing?
Kindest regards to All
Ahmed

Do you actually need Windows 11? Windows 10 will be supported until 2025. If you want to "upgrade" now, you may be able to download the .iso for Windows 11 and do a clean install. You would need to back up your files first, and then reinstall any application software and restore your files and settings if you do that.
