Strange behavior from new modem

I replaced my modem but the new one could not see available networks. How do I show it the list?

New one is: TP-Link AX1800 dual band wifi 6, Archer AX21
Old one was: horrible hateful little linksys.

That TP-Link unit is a wireless router, but does not have modem capabilities built in.

What type of Internet connection do you have? Cable, DSL, other?

The new router should have it's own WiFi network designator. What wireless networks do you see on your computer or phone using wireless?

Connection type would be DSL or other because signal is being sent to my roof unit from a nearby house. I get 5 bars and it's pretty solid but then something goes wrong. The network I connected to in the past was called REVNICE and all the nearby networks were visible. The new router was configured to match REVNICE but no networks are visible now so I can't select it and log on. I believe that's all I need to do.

Such as REVNICE? Is that done in the config?

I see all the nearby networks on my phone (probably because it's Android) but Windows shows me nothing any more.

Your new router probably has a setting to show or hide the network name, and the default may be to hide it. Have you connected a computer to it using an ethernet cable and checked the settings?
