WIFI won't connect
Hi,
I have an HP laptop running windows 10 that does connect to the internet via cat5 but not via WIFI. WIFI is turned on and i can find active WIFI networks. When i connect to one, then enter the password it returns "Can't connect to this network". This happens for all WIFI networks i try to connect to. I have removed the driver in the device manager, then rebooted and it appears to have reinstalled correctly. It's status indicates it is working but it isn't.
I have also reset the network and that didn't help.
Tia,
Dave

What type of Wifi network are you connecting to? Do you have the make/model of the router?
Do you have other devices that are able to connect to the Wifi network?
Make/model of your laptop would help. Did you look for updated Wifi drivers?

You say it happens with any wifi network? By that you mean any network that is open/public - besides any that are more private but will allow you access (but obviously requiring the correct passcode for the wifi connection)?
