[RESOLVED] Laptop keeps disconnecting from internet
I have a family member who is working from home. Her laptop is using the internet in the house wirelessly. The past few days her laptop has been loosing internet connection on her work laptop. All other devices connected to the same internet is fine. Her laptop uses win 10. What could be the cause of her laptop loosing connection?

Does it happen while she is using it or when she steps away and it goes into sleep mode?
Device Mangler has an option to NOT allow the wireless card to go to sleep.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

Steve, while she is using it. I don't think she even has sleep mode enabled.

Power Save mode is probably enabled by default. Check the Advanced Options in Power Options to make sure that the wireless interface is set to Never power off.

JDC, where exactly is this setting in windows 10? Also, where is the setting option to NOT allow the wireless card to go to sleep? She couldn't find either of these.

I apologize for not replying back earlier. She didn't make any changes to try to fix the issue. Her internet connection seemd to be fine the day after I posted this issue. Don't know what was causing the loss of connection for days, but seems fine now. Thanks!
