You got System Error 5 even when you "Run as Administrator"?
Now, right-click on the “Wureset Windows 10” batch file and then click on “Run as administrator“.

I ran it again as Admin.
It said " Task completed successfully, restart and check for updates" .
I did but still have the same problem,

More options to try:

What version of Windows 10 do you have? To find out, open a Command Prompt and type in "winver" (without the quotes). That should display a windows that gives the Windows 10 version number. Post that number here.
Examples: 1809, 1903, 1909, 2004, 20H2, 21H1.

I used the pureinfotech link and since I didn't have anything I wished to save and the only choice was losing everything anyway I didn't care. it took awhile and after it downloaded I restarted the computer and got a screen of the beach and rocks in the ocean. I used to get on that screen "press control- Alt- Delete and type in password" That was not there. Now if I press "control- alt- delete" I get something that says "other user" "User name" "Password" "sign in options". I have a password that worked before. Am I out of Luck?
Thanks

What happens when you enter the user name and password that you had previously set up?

When I press Ctrl-Alt-Del I get a screen that says "Other User". I type in the user name and password, press "Enter" and get the message "The user name or password is incorrect. Try again".

You were not asked to set up a new user during the upgrade process? If not, then you old user name and password should still work.

I was not asked to set up a "New User". When I boot the computer I get screen with the beach picture, date, time and in the lower right hand corner the internet connection symbol. If I click on the screen I get "Other User", "User Name", "Password", "Sign In Options". Signing in with user name and password doesn't work. I tried the first link you listed. I cannot get into "Safe Mode". It says use F4 key. I get a screen with the choices Continue, Troubleshoot, and turn off PC.

If you did not save any of the data from the previous install, then the easy option might be to reinstall Windows 10 again, and format the drive when doing so. That will force the installer to go through the entire process and ask you for a user name and password.
Note: If you want to use a Local user account and not a Microsoft account, you need to install at least Windows 10 Pro, AND, DO NOT connect the computer to the internet when installing Windows. Otherwise, Microsoft will require you to use a Microsoft account. If you were using a Microsoft account, this does not apply.

Thanks for the replies!
Windows 10 was installed when it was free. I don't have any software to install Windows 10 that I know of. When I used the link "pureinfotech.com/upgrade..." it listed three choices. The only one I could use was losing everything. Since I didn't care I went ahead and used it. It took quite awhile to run so I assumed it was working okay. I thought since I had the user and password that it would show up when the computer was turned on and I had the "Ctrl-Alt-Delete" which allowed me to use the "User Name" and "Password" option but no. I get this "Other User" with "User Name" and "Password" which doesn't work. I'll reread those 4 links you gave me. Thank you very much! And see if I can make any sense out of them.
