How to Dump Win10 Lock Screen??

I have always resolved this in the past but now it haunts to no end. I have tried nearly everything availably to dump the two step log-in on my PC.
When the PC awakens, after a considerably time lapse, I then have to tap the lock screen to dump it, then I have to tap my sign-in screen (no password needed at this time)
then I finally get to my desktop. A pain in the butt when you are in a hurry. I fixed my wife's PC a couple years ago & hers logs on without all these extra motions, but I'll be danged if
can get mine to do the same. I go into NETPLWIZ and uncheck whatever is necessary but nothing changes. What am I missing. BTW, its Windows 10. Thank you for your time.........

Thank you SpywareDR; for the reply.
As I stated in my earlier post, I had tried "Netplwiz" to no avail. I also tried "gpedit.msc" and I get a message stating that Win 10 cannot find it. And I do have all of Windows 10 latest updates.
Why does Win10 not have this available?? Thanks again...........

Thanks jdc; I will look into those, when I get some time. Right in the middle of a re-roof job & taking most of my time, seeing that it's done right.

I have one of my Windows 10 systems set to not lock the screen when the monitor powers off, so I know that should work.
