[RESOLVED] Why is my webcam so dreadful?
Win 10 Home Pro 64, 24 Gigs Ram, GForce 710 Vidcard, Gigabyte Socket 1156 mobo.
I have a Logitech C920 webcam. I've had it for some years. It's hard to get an objective idea of its image quality but the results have been dreadful! I must be missing something. I've seen other people with this cam produce clean videos and conferencing. I did an interview online last week and as I watch the playback (it's a split screen) I see my image as fuzzy, the sound a little better but the other side of the split screen, my interviewer, looks great! I connect via ordinary USB. What's going on here? I've been trying to adapt my Canon DSLR as a webcam but that's pretty intense. Not today, please! I think it can do better but I have no clue.
Thanks as always

Did you try taking stills or videos with the Logitech Capture software?

What do you mean by "ordinary" USB? Is it a USB 3.0 port?

I've spent some time with the logitech software today. to my relief, it isn't as bad as I thought. I have more control over the webcam than I knew. As usual, virtualdr helped me out of a jam. Again, thanks!
